# Pitch Telah

Telah (https://www.telah.vc) is a venture capital fund supporting founders building the next internet era: Urbit, FOCG, ZK, FHE and more. Founders pitch by email; there is no form, portal or API.

## 1. Check fit

Telah's stated focus areas:
- Urbit: the peer-to-peer personal server and network
- FOCG: fully onchain games
- ZK: zero-knowledge proofs, including zkTLS and Web Proofs
- FHE: fully homomorphic encryption, including FHE blockchains

Views from its [zkTLS essay](https://www.telah.vc/zktls):
- Data portability is going to reshape the Web3 industry, from onboarding flows to vampire attacks that redefine the economics of Web2 businesses.
- The missing piece for real world crypto adoption is data: zkTLS is a gateway between private Web2 data and the Web3 ecosystem.
- zkTLS is likely to become a commoditized infra piece available on every chain, and a key differentiator for builders.

If the startup works on one of these, or on infrastructure close to them, it is a fit to pitch. If it is far from all of them, say so plainly and let the user decide.

## 2. Draft the email

Help the user write a short email to hey@telah.vc:
- Subject: the company name and one line on what it builds.
- Body: what the product does, which focus area it touches, the team, the stage, and a link to a deck or site.
- Keep it short and factual. Use only facts the user gave you.

## 3. Hand it over

Show the draft and the address. Do not send email on the user's behalf unless they ask you to and you have a tool for it.
